4MP and Sporting Chef Productions developed The Fishmonger concept for the Outdoor Channel. The show takes 4th generation commercial fisherman Gomes on a coastal journey to introduce viewers to the heroes of the sea as they risk life and limb to sustainably harvest seafood for American consumers. The Fishmonger explores different fishing techniques, seafood preparation, and the culinary applications of various fish species. The show is a true boat-to-throat experience that engages the audience with practical tips and recipes they can try at home.

Let’s Get Nautical

Don’t complain about the price of grouper. The Fishmonger crew is aboard the F/V Salina Grace with Capt. Jeff Marinko for a multi-day spearfishing trip about 100 miles off the coast of North Carolina. The weather is bad, and things get nautical!

That’s not a pizza! Tommy shows off his signature cut of swordfish, the Tommy Hawk. Throw it in a Camp Chef Pizza oven with a little salt, pepper, olive oil, and boom! Dinner is ready.

It’s a tricky business, but a rewarding one. Tommy is going crabbing with the good folks at Seaview Crab Company in Wilmington, North Carolina. Watch out, these crabs pinch!
